Aloha, Fly like an Eagle.

One of the first collectors to purchase paintings from the "Aloha Brand" series was Glenn Frey, guitarist and songwriter of The Eagles.  He visited STONES Gallery in 1990, on the island of Kauai, where he has a home and lives part time with his wife Cindy and their family in Haena on the North Shore of the Garden Island.  They also have homes in Aspen, Los Angeles, and Miami and needed artwork to place inside the different residences.  He made me believe that I can make a living as an artist and I am very grateful to him for being a kind and supportive fellow artist and musician.  The Eagles songbook and record albums are the music of my life and times during the early 1970's through today.  I am saddened by his departure from this life but only hope that his soul rests in Peace with all the other great musicians that shared their lyrics and melodies with us.

Aloha and Mahalo, Glenn Frey.  Malama pono to Cindy Frey and your family.
